You Don't Mess Around With Jim

A typical conversation between my dad and I goes a little like this:
Pa, why are Africans' noses so big?
Um, because they need to breathe more.
What?? Eh Pa, you do know that I'm not five anymore, right?
No! It's true! Cuz you see right, their skins are so dark so their body gets hot faster than ours do. So they need more air to circulate to cool their bodies down.
*stares blankly at him* What?
Really one! Cuz when the air goes in blablabla into the lungs blablabla need more air blablabla external air cooler than internal air blablabla regulate body temperature blablabla...
*turns to mom* Should I believe him?
No one asked you to ask such a dumb question.
The moral of the story is: Ask a dumb question, get a dumber answer in return.
