Take What You Take

A-Levels is over, so to celebrate, YiMing and I decided to go out for dinner for a night of catching up last Saturday. And as per usual, we'd get all frustrated when it comes to picking something to eat. It's not because we're so sick of all the food choices (although that is one of the reasons), or because of price issues, or whatever, but simply because there are just way too many choices!

We initially picked Italiannies, but then we decided to go to Marche's instead, which the boys (Ian, Ngai Hong and Leon) veto-ed for Secret Recipe. But one look at Secret Recipe's menu, we were like, "Eh, let's go to Marche's!"

Okay actually, I can't be bothered to talk about Saturday, so....

Large salad for only $10. It pays to eat with someone who's worked at a restaurant. Food stacking skills!

I guess this is something everyone who goes to Marche's try. It's a potato thing, um, called rosti. I think it's about $9? Cuz we added eggs and woah, bad move! It just tasted like roti canai. Gross. I thought it would be like the rosti, then scrambled eggs on top but I was wrong. Oh well. I bet it would taste good with the sausages though. Yum yum.

And my dragonfruit juice which has no ice. =(

We had pizza too, but we were so into eating that it was only halfway through that I remembered that I forgot to take a picture, and by that time I really couldn't be arsed to anymore.

Guess what the total bill for the three of us came up to? $61.20 only! For three people! So you guys that say Marche's is expensive, you just don't know what to order or you get so overwhelmed that you order everything, like poor Ian who's bill for one came up to $40.

Then it's off to Apartments for dessert, where we had yucky strawberry cake (it was dry! Horrible!) and yummy chocolate something. I suck at remembering food names. Oh well.

On an unrelated note, does anyone else notice how perverted Lady GaGa's Love Game sounds?
